I must admit that I have left\u00a0ColourPop<\/a> to one side recently (I mean, these last months). They launched so many products and collabs that it became difficult to follow. However, the spring collection caught my eye! And in particular, the face palette with a blush and a highlighter: the\u00a0Pressed Powder Face Duo<\/a>\u00a0which I will tell you more about today.<\/h2>\n

I also purchased the new Blotted Lips and Ultra Blotted Lips. I will tell you about them soon! smile<\/span> <\/p>\n

So, ColourPop not only launched just one spring collection but three monochromatic<\/strong> ones (Nectar, Pink, and Sand), like they did last fall. Obviously, these shades are the trendiest at the moment. The choice of colors, you’ll have seen in all my Colourpop reviews, is definitely their best strength. They really know how to release new collections with the more appealing colors of the moment, those you want to wear now, right away!<\/p>\n

So first, there was the Nectar<\/strong><\/a> collection (with more peachy tones), then the Pink<\/strong><\/a> collection (all the pretty pinks) and finally, the Sand<\/strong><\/a> collection (some flattering warm nude shades). Each collection included products for the eyes, the lips, the cheeks…
\nThere are also some new products, including two new formulas of lipsticks (the Blotted Lips I spoke about earlier) and a face palette (with a blush and a highlighter). And since this is ColourPop, all these products are very reasonable priced<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

So I got myself two of these pretty face palette duo, the Done Deal<\/a> (from the Pink collection) and the Double Play<\/a> (from the Sand collection).<\/p>\n

ColourPop Pressed Powder Face Duo, presentation:<\/h3>\n

It’s a 2 in 1 face palette<\/strong> that contains a blush and a highlighter, both in the form of pressed powders<\/strong>.
\nThe blush has a matte<\/strong> finish, and of course, the highlighter is quite luminous<\/strong>, almost metallic.<\/p>\n

I chose a Pressed Powder Face Duo in pink (Done Deal<\/strong>) and a\u00a0warm\u00a0nude shade (Double Play<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

They retail each for $16<\/strong>. I don’t know if they’re limited edition, but with ColourPop, the turnover is quite quick so don’t hold your breath on these too long if you like them. wink<\/span> <\/p>\n

\u2013 Packaging: <\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s a cardboard packaging, quite solid but also basic <\/strong>(without feeling cheap). The closure is magnetized. Good point: it contains a mirror, which is always practical.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Texture and finish: <\/strong><\/p>\n

They’re pressed powders<\/strong>, which is a relatively new texture for the brand. ColourPop widened the choice of their formulas with the pressed powder eyeshadows<\/a>\u00a0recently, and now they offer plenty of different products in this finish. They’re not too powdery and quite creamy<\/strong> (especially the highlighter).
\nThe blush matte finish is silky smooth, not chalky at all. The highlighter iridescent finish is very luminous, quite metallic without being glittery.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Colors and pigmentation:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The pigmentation is good<\/strong> and they’re rather easy to blend<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Done Deal<\/strong> is a pink harmony<\/strong>, with a medium cool pink blush, which gives a very fresh flush on the cheeks and a pink champagne highlighter, super pretty and quite natural and subtle.<\/p>\n

Double Play<\/strong> is a more neutral<\/strong> harmony of colors, with fairly warm undertones<\/strong>. The blush looks like a bronzer at first, but it’s a little too orange to be used as such (at least for my taste). As a blush, it gives a nice warm bronzy effect on the cheeks, I really like it. The highlighter is super intense, a beautiful golden beige that really catches the light. It’s gorgeous!<\/p>\n

\u2013 Application: <\/strong><\/p>\n

I use a brush<\/strong> to apply them, and they blend effortlessly\u00a0<\/strong>on the cheeks.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Lasting power: <\/strong><\/p>\n

They last pretty well on my skin: between 6 to 8h<\/strong> on me.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Value for money:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s a great value for money.\u00a0It’s a good product, and $16<\/strong> is quite affordable for this quality.<\/p>\n
