I’ve already introduced you to\u00a0the Super Shock Shadows and you’ll have understood that I was crazy about them. A few weeks ago, ColourPop also launched blushes! I mean come on, just take all my money!!! I’ll kill the suspense right away by revealing that yes, these blushes are insanely good<\/strong>! But believe me, I have very good reasons to be enthusiastic. – Innovation and formula:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n The texture is exactly the same as the Super Shock Shadows: a hybrid texture<\/strong> powder\/cream\/mousse, with that soft and almost bouncy feeling when you touch them.<\/p>\n – Color range and finishes:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n There are 23 different blushes<\/strong> in the permanent collection, and some other from\u00a0limited editions<\/a>. The range is quite new, so I imagine there will certainly be other colors in the future. There are a lot of nude ones (lots of pink especially) but also more intense and darker shades that\u00a0will be perfect for darker complexions!<\/p>\n They are available in 3 finishes: matte, satin\/iridescent and shimmery\/glittery<\/strong>.<\/p>\n – Packaging:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n It’s exactly the same round little jar, very pop 60’s, than for the eyeshadows, but in a larger size.<\/p>\n And same caution: don’t forget to close it tightly\u00a0to prevent these little gems\u00a0from drying up!<\/p>\n – Application:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n You can use a blush brush or your finger tips<\/strong> (I’m not a fan) to apply this blush. Personally, after having tried different techniques, the brush that I prefer to use with it is the Real Techniques Stippling Brush<\/a>\u00a0(see photo above).<\/p>\n In fact, I think that a duo-fiber brush<\/strong> is the perfect way to catch the right amount of\u00a0product and to blend\u00a0it\u00a0into your skin without moving your foundation underneath.<\/p>\n – Pigmentation:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Amazing pigmentation<\/strong>! – Lasting-power:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n The lasting power is awesome and I was clearly impressed<\/strong>! – Value For Money:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n For the quality and quantity of product, I think that $8<\/strong> is a great price!<\/p>\n – Availability:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Unfortunately, they’re still quite complicated to find<\/strong>, unless you live in North America, Australia or New Zealand …<\/p>\n Can’t wait for international delivery!<\/p>\n – Prenup<\/a>: <\/strong><\/p>\n It is a rather medium pink purple with a satiny finish<\/strong>. – Mochi<\/a>:<\/strong><\/p>\n It’s a bright and mat pink<\/strong>, with cool undertones. I love this color, it immediately gives a flush and fresh effect to the skin. It is perfect for spring time and this is my favorite blush of the moment!<\/p>\n – Early Bird<\/a>:<\/strong><\/p>\n When I ordered it, I was expecting a rather orangy-red blush, but in reality, it’s more a pinky-red shade<\/strong>, with a matte finish<\/strong>. It still has quite warm undertones (but it’s still a pink, not really a coral). It’s a great color to mimic the effect of “I just came back from a\u00a0walk in the forest”, perfect for a bad skin day! wink<\/span> <\/p>\n – Prenup:<\/strong><\/p>\n – Mochi:<\/strong><\/p>\n – Early Bird:<\/strong><\/p>\n
\nI tried to resist buying the 23 that exist in the range because, let’s get real here, I only have two cheeks, but honestly, it was a close call! tongue<\/span> <\/p>\n

\nYou can see the color on the skin but it’s not impossible to blend like some other blushes that tend to stain the skin indelibly, and you end up\u00a0looking like a clown.<\/p>\n
\nThese blushes have the best\u00a0longevity on my skin compared to all the others I own. They last 8-10h without fading on my cheeks, and with the combo oily skin\/very hot Dubai weather, this is quite an achievement!<\/p>\nColourPop Super Shock Cheeks blushes, review and swatches:<\/h3>\n

\nWhen I saw the micro-glitter in the jar, I must admit that I was a bit scared. I’m not a big fan of the ultra-shimmery blushes, I find less than flattering and they tend to emphasize my pores! But fortunately, the glitter doesn’t really show on the skin, it just gives a very nice and subtle glow. No disco-ball effect, I assure you!<\/p>\nFinally, here they are on me:<\/h3>\n
