Let’s be real here: it’s becoming very difficult to keep pace with all the new\u00a0ColourPop<\/a>\u00a0releases…<\/h2>\n

The\u00a0bronzers<\/a>, the\u00a0highligters<\/a>, the numerous\u00a0collabs<\/a>\u00a0and very soon the\u00a0matte lips liquid lipsticks<\/a>\u00a0(who’s excited????), I’m starting to feel overwhelmed!<\/p>\n

So, the only way to not suffer from the\u00a0syndrome of\u00a0Buy now, blog never<\/a><\/em>: be methodical and tell you about all these products in order.
\nSo let’s do that, starting today with the bronzers<\/strong>! wink<\/span> <\/p>\n

I’ve already mentioned\u00a0ColourPop<\/a> products on this blog several time and as you know, I’m totally obsessed with this brand which offers a range of makeup products with incredible colors<\/strong> and innovative textures<\/strong> and all this for a ridiculous price<\/strong>.
\nMy only concern at the moment is that they don’t deliver internationally. But given their success and expansion of their product lines, I think it’ll be probably very soon!<\/p>\n

ColourPop bronzers, presentation:<\/h3>\n
\"ColourPop<\/a><\/div>\n

The ColourPop bronzers have exactly the same size<\/strong>, the same formula<\/strong> and the same price<\/strong> as the Super Shock Cheeks<\/a>\u00a0blushes\u00a0I reviewed a few weeks ago.
\nThe only difference is obviously the range of colors<\/strong> which is for\u00a0some shades most suitable for being used\u00a0as bronzers.<\/p>\n

I was wondering if there would be some specific colors for contouring but apparently, there aren’t. They’re rather\u00a0warm shades\u00a0<\/strong>which are perfect to warm up the complexion.<\/p>\n

ColourPop bronzers, my test and thoughts:<\/h3>\n
\"ColourPop<\/a><\/div>\n

– Innovation and formula:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The texture is exactly the same as the Super Shock Shadows<\/a>\u00a0and the Super Shock Cheeks<\/a> blushes: a powder, cream and mousse texture<\/strong>, with that soft feeling when you touch it.<\/p>\n

– Color Range:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

There are 6 colors<\/strong> in the range: 4 mattes and 2 satin. I opted for Bon Voyage (matte), Skinny Dip (mat) and Paradise Cove (satin).<\/p>\n

Bon Voyage<\/strong> is pretty light, too light for me IMO. I will try it again this winter but really, it’s barely noticeable\u00a0on my skin. It’ll be perfect for very fair skin!
\nSkinny Dip<\/strong> is perfect for my skin tone. A nice tan shade, rather warm without being orange that warms my skin tone just the right amount. Perfect! smile<\/span>
\nParadise Cove<\/strong> is very pretty. It’s just a little darker than Skinny Dip but it works just fine with my skin color.<\/p>\n

– Packaging:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s the same\u00a0round box<\/strong>\u00a0(very pop 60s) as\u00a0for blushes. Same caution\u00a0when you use them though: you need to\u00a0close them tight\u00a0after using them<\/strong> to prevent them from drying!<\/p>\n

\"Makeup<\/a>\"Makeup<\/a><\/div>\n

– Application:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

I tried several types of makeup brushes and I came to the conclusion that I prefer to use rather dense brushes such as the NARS<\/a>, the MUFE<\/a>\u00a0or angled brushes like the 103 by ZOEVA<\/a> or the Angled Stippling Brush by MUG<\/a>.
\nThe ColourPop texture is very dense, so it’s hard to take some product with a too soft brush.<\/p>\n

Regarding my method of application, I always use the method of 3 or E (as I explain in my post How to apply bronzer makeup<\/a>).<\/p>\n

– Pigmentation:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The pigmentation is\u00a0good<\/strong> however, you must\u00a0build up<\/strong>\u00a0the product a little. Which I personally prefer.
\nNothing worse than a bronzer which is impossible to blend! Here, you can build it up if you want a very bronzy result or blend it if you want it to be subtle. It’s really the perfect\u00a0bronzer for beginners<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

– Finish:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

I’m really a fan of the two finishes: the matte<\/strong> is very natural<\/strong> and imperceptible<\/strong> and the satin<\/strong> is subtle and very luminous<\/strong>. I find the latter beautiful during the summer, especially with the sun light! smile<\/span> <\/p>\n

– Lasting Power:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The long-lasting power is very good<\/strong>, as always with the ColourPop products with this kind of texture! They don’t move<\/strong> during\u00a0the day (8 to 10 hour on me).<\/p>\n

– Value For Money:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Excellent<\/strong>! Like a lot of products in this brand. wink<\/span> <\/p>\n

Finally, here are the swatches:<\/h3>\n

With the swatches, you can really see the warm undertones but no orange whatsoever.<\/p>\n

And on me:<\/h3>\n

I’m sorry, you don’t really\u00a0see much on my photos but fingers crossed, it should change soon, I’m investing in some lighting gear! wink<\/span> <\/p>\n

The first one, Bon Voyage is clearly too light for me. This may be more a winter bronzer, but as it\u00a0is almost impossible to see it on me, I’m not so sure… uneasy<\/span>
\nThe other two are a little more visible. But my purpose when I’m using this type of product is to bring just a little warmth to my face, so the result is still quite discreet because it’s what I want.<\/p>\n

– Bon Voyage:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

My lipstick here: the\u00a0Rouge Edition Aqua Laque in the shade Fuchsia Perch\u00e9\u00a0<\/a>.<\/p>\n

– Skinny Dip:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

My lisptck is a\u00a0ColourPop<\/a>, the Lippie Stix Brink<\/a>.<\/p>\n

– Paradise Cove:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"ColourPop<\/a><\/div>\n

My lipstck:\u00a0Clinique Pop in the shade Cherry Pop<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Great news! Worldwide delivery is finally available for\u00a0ColourPop! (Well, to be precise, it\u00a0will be\u00a0tonight wink<\/span> )
