Slowly but surely,\u00a0ColourPop<\/a> continues to rise, becoming one of the most innovative brands in recent years…<\/h2>\n

Color<\/strong> is definitely a strong suit for\u00a0ColourPop and the brand proves it once again with its brand\u00a0new Colourpop Creme Gel Colour<\/a>.
\nThese cute little pots are 2 in 1 products<\/strong>, both cream eyeshadow<\/strong> and\u00a0gel eyeliner<\/strong> to draw classic and colorful cat eyes.
\nI\u00a0was so impatient for ColourPop to release this product, because eyeliner (black or colored) is\u00a0one of my favorite makeup looks, and it has been\u00a0for years!<\/p>\n

ColourPop has also launched Creme Gel Liners<\/a> at the same time. I’ll tell you more about these in a future post. Most colors are available in the 2 versions, cream and gel eyeliner. They are perfect used as a duo<\/strong>, because the\u00a0liners are more suitable for an application in the waterline, to intensify your makeup.<\/p>\n

Today let’s focus on the Creme Gel Colour<\/strong>\u00a0because I bought\u00a06 of them, so I have a lot to show you! wink<\/span> <\/p>\n

What the brand says about them:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Precision of a liquid, with the ease of a gel based formula. <\/span>
\n\u2022 Apply with a brush, we like a super fine, firm and synthetic angled brush. <\/span>
\n\u2022 Dip tip of the brush, coat both sides \u2013 be careful not to pick up too much product! <\/span>
\n\u2022 Work quickly, as the formula becomes transfer resistant once it dries. <\/span>
\n\u2022 Do NOT leave opened for long periods of time or it will dry out and you will be sad. Be sure to close the lid tightly after each use.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

ColourPop recommends using them as\u00a0a eyeliner rather than a cream eyeshadow, but clearly the formula could also be used as a cream eyeshadow.
\nBut, however the formula is rather dry<\/strong>, which means that it can’t really be blended<\/strong>. It dries very quickly and very suddenly, so if you\u00a0try to smudge it\u00a0to do a “smoked” effect, it tends to crumble and drop. Unless you are particularly fast and agile, it’s pretty difficult to blend them correctly…<\/p>\n

This product will be more suitable to draw super sharp lines<\/strong> along the lash line, upper or lower.<\/p>\n

Colourpop Creme Gel Colour, the colors:<\/h3>\n
\"Colourpop<\/a><\/div>\n

– Over Board:\u00a0<\/strong>a very beautiful metallic bronze. It’s not super dark, so the effect is rather soft\u00a0and\u00a0luminous.<\/p>\n

– Call Me:\u00a0<\/strong>a matte reddish brown. Super nice on blue and\/or green eyes, it’s dark but also softer than the traditional black or dark brown.<\/p>\n

– Best O:\u00a0<\/strong>a true matte burgundy. I love this kind of color, especially in fall. Best O is one of my favorites!<\/p>\n

– Bee Sting:\u00a0<\/strong>the only bright color I bought. It’s a matte royal blue, almost turquoise. This is one of my favorite colors to use if I want to make the colour of my eyes pop, I love the contrast it creates. And it’s a color that I like even more during the summer!<\/p>\n

– DTLA:\u00a0<\/strong>a sublime matte\u00a0navy blue, more wearable\u00a0than Sting Bee for everyday. I love pairing it\u00a0with a golden beige eyeshadow on my lids, I think it gives a lot of radiance\u00a0to the eyes.<\/p>\n

– No Shame:\u00a0<\/strong>an intense matte dark purple. Well, you’ll notice there’s like\u00a0a theme in my choices, I bought\u00a0all burgundy\/plum \/purple available! With my eye color, I find that these kind of shades usually match pretty well\u00a0and No Shame is no exception to the rule! wink<\/span> <\/p>\n

Colourpop Creme Gel Colour, my test\u00a0and thoughts:<\/h3>\n
\"Colourpop<\/a><\/div>\n

– Packaging:\u00a0<\/strong>a small glass pot with a white plastic lid, very pop, like the rest of\u00a0 ColourPop’s packaging. But be careful not to leave them open too long. The product is likely to dry up otherwise!<\/p>\n

– Formula and\u00a0texture: <\/strong>a gel-cream formula, not too thick, very easy to take and apply to skin. Only downside: it really dries quickly once applied to the skin.<\/p>\n

– Color Range:<\/strong> 27\u00a0different colors, there is a wide choice! There are neutral colors and also a lot of very bright\u00a0colors for those\u00a0who love them. There is also a choice in the finish: matte or metallic, there’s something for everyone!<\/p>\n

– Pigmentation: <\/strong>perfect, the colors are intense and very opaque on the skin.<\/p>\n

– Application: <\/strong>if you’re good with eyeliner and have a good brush, everything should go perfectly fine. (I put my favorite eyeliner brushes in the picture above, feel free\u00a0to click on the picture to see the references) But otherwise, it’s a little more complicated…
\nThe product dries very very quickly<\/strong>. If you want to correct your line after a few seconds, you may risk removing it and you will have to\u00a0start again from scratch. uneasy<\/span>
\nFurthermore, it’s also very difficult to blend\u00a0this formula for the same reason. The product dries too quickly to be smudged.
\nSo I don’t really recommend this product for eyeliner beginners as you really have to apply it quickly.<\/p>\n

\n\"MAC<\/a><\/div>\n

– Lasting Power: <\/strong>the lasting power\u00a0is excellent. It doesn’t move all\u00a0day, is sweat and tear resistant\u00a0and doesn’t transfer. Perfect! smile<\/span> <\/p>\n

– Value For Money: <\/strong>not too bad, because it’s a very cheap\u00a0product ($6<\/strong>) but it’s not the best eyeliner gel formula I know, far from it,\u00a0let’s be clear!<\/p>\n

– Availability:\u00a0<\/strong>you\u00a0have to order online on ColourPop website and they still don’t deliver worldwide… sad<\/span> \u00a0But I just wanted to point out that ColourPop’s delivery\u00a0is so much more quicker than they were before. I received my order in less than 1\u00a0week (last time, it took more than 3 weeks)<\/p>\n
