To say\u00a0that I was excited to receive my new BITE Beauty Amuse Bouche lipsticks<\/a> would be an understatement.<\/h2>\n

Who are BITE Beauty?<\/i><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

BITE Beauty is a very young brand, but the least I\u00a0can say is that it has a big potential<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Founded in Toronto (Canada) in\u00a02011 by<\/strong>\u00a0Susanne Langmuir, BITE Beauty produces only lip\u00a0products<\/strong>: lip balms, lip masks, lip pencils, lipsticks...<\/p>\n

Originally, the founder of BITE Beauty wanted to create a brand with 100% natural formulas, and also completely safe knowing that some recent studies have shown that women ingest about 350 grams of lipstick<\/strong> in their entire\u00a0life if they apply it everyday.
\nAnd even this (relatively) small amount may be harmful<\/strong>. In general lipsticks are often composed of waxes, fats and oils, but also contain many other chemicals that control the color, the flavor, the texture... On top of that, they can also contain some metals (lead, aluminum, cobalt, chromium, copper, titanium etc.).
\nIn short, several nasty\u00a0ingredients\u00a0you don't really want to imagine in your belly!<\/p>\n

The formula of\u00a0BITE Beauty products is so natural and safe you can eat them<\/strong>, hence the name BITE, like \"Bite me\". The formulas are also classified as Food\u00a0<\/strong>(edible) by the FDA, the US Food and Drugs Administration.<\/p>\n

Besides their\u00a0impeccable formulas, BITE Beauty also has a very edgy<\/strong> side to it, with a cool\u00a0packaging and a super trendy<\/strong> choice of colors. More often that not, BITE consumers are first attracted by the modern looks of the products and of course the fantastic shades, and only after, they notice the beautiful composition of the products.
\nBITE is not really the conventional or hippie organic beauty brand.<\/p>\n

Susanne Langmuir introduced her super interesting\u00a0BITE Beauty project\u00a0to the\u00a0Sephora<\/strong> team in 2010. Sephora encouraged her and decided to distribute the brand exclusively in their branches<\/strong>. Then in 2014, LVMH who own Sephora, acquired BITE Beauty through one\u00a0of its satellite companies, Kendo<\/strong>.
\nKendo owns a portfolio of several super trendy beauty brands like\u00a0Kat Von D Beauty, Beauty Marc Jacobs, Ole Henriksen and Formula X. They are also behind the development of the future Rihanna's makeup company: Fenty Beauty by Rihanna.<\/p>\n

The founder Susanne Langmuir still remains very involved in the development of BITE Beauty and the acquisition by Kendo allows her without doubt to enlarge her\u00a0horizons<\/strong> and hopefully, they will open the distribution to other markets in the future (the brand is only distributed at Sephora USA and Canada for now).<\/p>\n
